Every now and then, you run into one of those components that, despite (or perhaps because of) its incredible simplicity, manages to define for you how a certain interaction should work.
I think that Sebastiao Gazolla has done exactly this for the humble color picker with his control, ColorPopover. ColorPopover is a very simple component for iPhone/iPad that provides a “Popover” color picker. MIT licensed.
