Thankfully, with the release of Mac OS X 10.9.2, last week's SSL crisis is over, and we can get back to wringing our hands about the impending death of TestFlight. The good folks at Apptentive have a pretty comprehensive list of replacement services that you might want to check out. Of late, I have been using HockeyApp, which I generally like.
Meanwhile, Apple released a new document describing iOS and device security, including some interesting information on the iPhone 5s' secure enclave and Touch ID systems. Also, I have no idea if this page is new or just happened to be linked to this week, but I ran across Apple's developer user experience design page, which includes a number of great resources on how to create beautiful, well-designed iOS apps. Gruber posted a related article last Tuesday that highlights some aspects of Steve Jobs' thought process on such matters, which I think is also worth a read.
Finally, perhaps in anticipation of Apple's shareholder meeting, an interesting background piece on Tim Cook was published on al.com, and the New York Times wrote about predicting some aspects of Apple's future plans by examining their acquisitions.
