A fully customizable tab bar controller for iOS written in Objective C. It uses autolayout. It requires iOS 7.1 + and ARC. You can set custom icon images, text, selected and unselected background images. You can also add separator images between the tabs to mark the tab separations. There are two configurations for the placement of text and icon images ( text to the right of icon image and text to the bottom of icon image)
UITabBarController is a handy control for building user interfaces, but this control has an annoying limitation: if there are more than five tabs, a "More" button replaces the fifth tab. The user might not understand what "More" means or the fact that it hides additional controllers. JFATabBarController is a pluggable replacement for UITabBarController that eliminates this limitation. The user of this control can access an arbitrary number of controllers simply by swiping left on the tab bar. By default, JFATabBarController displays an exciting animation when changing tabs.
A custom Tab Bar write from scratch VSTabBar is fully customizable: * All colors could be changed (Background, Foreground, gradient selection, current selection item, etc.), * Showing/Unshowing current selection, * Showing/Unshowing selection indicator gradient, * Showing/Unshowing title or/and image, * Showing/Unshowing separator between items In the most of case, you want to use a tabbar in bottom, but with VSTabBar you could set-up to be a topbar easily.
This my fork of PSMTabBarControl. It was originally created by http://www.positivespinmedia.com/dev/PSMTabBarControl.html, then updated at http://code.google.com/p/maccode/source/browse/#svn/trunk/Utilities/PSMTabBarControl. The initial commit of my fork is from r291 of the Google code repo. Project hasn't been updated on either site in a few years, but still works well. My fork is an attempt to modernize some of the code and interface for my own purposes, but I can't promise I'll keep maintaining it.
